Dr. Ray-an Talatala, a graduate of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, made history as the first nurse from New York State to be named a Fellow of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (FAORN). He joins an elite group of only 27 AORN Fellows across the United States. As a Perioperative Nursing Professional Development Specialist at NYC Health and Hospitals, Dr. Talatala leads initiatives to improve surgical safety, raise clinical standards, and mentor future perioperative nurses—bringing pride to the global Filipino nursing community.
