The Economic Development Committee (EDC) of the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Council (RDC-X) has approved the proposed Opol Boardwalk Upgrading Project. The endorsement came after Opol Mayor Jay Bago presented the initiative, which aims to boost tourism and strengthen the local economy. The project is being considered for funding by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).
