City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy pledged to expand public service delivery and development projects in Cagayan de Oro as he gets a fresh mandate for his second term. In his June 16 Term Report held at the Atrium of Limketkai Center, he highlighted economic recovery from the pandemic, outreach to remote communities, and receiving the city’s first Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award. Future plans include completion of hospital and mega health center projects to ease congestion at JR Borja General Hospital, and guide development through the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and updated zoning laws.

Mayor Klarex also presented the city’s updated development areas: Uptown, Midtown, Highland, CDO East, Port Town, Coastal Strip, Central Ridge, and Downtown. He also highlighted special development projects in the Downtown – Central Business District area like Project Lunhaw, Riverpoint, Campuspoint, and Marketpoint.


















































































Following the Term Report, reelected Representative Rufus Rodriguez, ABAMIN Partylist First Nominee Maximo Rodriguez, and other city officials led by Mayor Klarex Uy formally took their oath of office.
