Mias and Nenen Lechon House was declared champion of the Lechoneros Encuentro Year 3, held at Rio de Oro Boulevard in celebration of Cagayan de Oro’s 75th Charter Day. Janray’s Lechon claimed 1st Runner-up, while Ramonal Lechon took 2nd Runner-up honors. A total of 23 lechon providers from across the city participated in the competition. Congratulations!
SUMMARY
- Champion: 94.66% Mia’s and Nenen Lauron Lechon House – Montalvan-Burgos Sts – Grand Prize of ₱30,000, plus an additional ₱3,000 from Globe
- 1st Runner-up: 91% Janray’s Lechon – Macahambus-Burgos Sts – winning ₱20,000, along with extra ₱2,000 from Globe
- 2nd Runner-up: 86.66% Ramonal Lechon – Burgos-Montalvan Sts – ₱10,000 cash, plus ₱1,000 from Globe
Meanwhile, the remaining 20 participants each received a ₱3,000 consolation prize, All participants were also given one sack of BMEG feeds as additional support.
