Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC) presented the initial phase of its new infrastructure plan for Laguindingan International Airport during the 2nd regular meeting of the Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC) of the Port of Cagayan de Oro, held on May 28, 2025, at Limketkai Luxe Hotel. The proposed upgrades include the addition of one passenger boarding bridge (PBB), enhancements to the terminal building facade, and improved traffic flow to and from the terminal. AIC also provided updates on current developments at the airport, following its official takeover of maintenance and operations last April 26.

Here’s a closer look.

Hopefully, we can get a clearer rendering of the plan.
