Reigning WBC Minimumweight Champion Melvin Jerusalem, the pride of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, successfully defended his title with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Yudai Shigeoka in their rematch today, March 30, in Aichi, Japan. The judges’ scores were 118-110, 119-109, and 116-112. Jerusalem won the title last year with a split decision win over Shigeoka. Congratulations!
