Pile works are still ongoing on the Kalambaguhan side of the proposed Kalambaguhan-Vamenta Bridge, one of three iconic bridges set to span Cagayan de Oro River. The bridge will start at Kalambaguhan Street in the city proper, then traverse Rio de Oro Boulevard, and connect to Vamenta Boulevard in Carmen, near Liceo de Cagayan University. The exact alignment on the Carmen side has yet to be revealed, as right-of-way acquisition is still required.
