Departure honors were held at Lumbia Airbase in Cagayan de Oro for Capt. Jude S. Salang-oy of Kalinga, and 1Lt April John B. Dadulla of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Their remains will be transported to Villamor Airbase for full military honors. The two fighter pilots tragically lost their lives when their FA-50 fighter jet crashed at Mt. Kalatungan in Bukidnon on March 4 during tactical night operations.
