Remains of fallen fighter pilots brought to Cagayan de Oro

The remains of Capt. Jude S. Salang-oy of Kalinga in the Cordilleras and 1Lt April John B. Dadulla of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, have been brought to a private funeral home in Cagayan de Oro City. Elements from Task Force Oro are now stationed at St. Peter Chapels in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro, providing additional security. The two fighter pilots died when their FA-50 fighter jet crashed at Mt. Kalatungan in Bukidnon while on a mission to provide air support for ground forces engaged in counter insurgency operations along the Bukidnon – Agusan del Sur boundary. They were reported missing before reaching their target.
