Completion of the three-storey City Hospital – Tablon in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City is faced with multiple challenges. With construction now in Phases 3 and 4, the project has encountered issues such as right-of-way, lack of perimeter fence, utility connection and alleged non-compliance with Department of Health (DOH) standards which further delayed its completion. The city-owned hospital is intended to serve residents in the eastern part of the city.

Construction of the hospital is divided into six phases with Phases 1 and 2 already completed.

City Hall has identified seven major issues affecting the hospital project as follows.
