Pile works are now underway on the Kalambaguhan side of the proposed Kalambaguhan-Vamenta Bridge, one of three iconic bridges set to span Cagayan de Oro River. Concrete piles for the bridge foundation have also been observed onsite. The bridge will begin at Kalambaguhan Street in the city proper, cross Rio de Oro Boulevard, and connect to Vamenta Boulevard in Carmen, right beside Liceo de Cagayan University. The exact alignment on the Carmen side has yet to be finalized, as it will require right-of-way acquisition.
