Xavier University’s XU Mekan-Eco recorded a fuel efficiency of 62.5 kilometers per liter, securing 7th place in the Prototype Internal Combustion Engine category at the recently concluded Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and the Middle East 2025, held at the Lusail International Circuit in Doha, Qatar. The team also successfully passed the rigorous series of 11 technical inspections. Congratulations!
XU Mekan–Eco earlier successfully passed the rigorous 11–step Technical Inspection which is a major preliminary part of the competition that ensures the vehicle is suitable and qualified to run on track safely and successfully.
