The bridge over tunnel section as part of the Upper Carmen-Patag-Kauswagan Road Project, located at the back of Golden Village in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City, has been completed. Meanwhile, road construction is steadily advancing toward the hillside area near the vicinity of the perimeter of Camp Evangelista Golf Course. Several houses in this neighborhood are expected to be affected by this development. When completed, motorists between Uptown CDO and Patag can now bypass Carmen and shorten travel time. The ongoing road project is covered by Contract ID No. 25K00049 with an approved funding of P62.725 million.
The current funding has four road sections as shown below.

Shown below is the completed section of the diversion road project in the vicinity of the site of the proposed CDRRMD Disaster Coordination Center.
This diversion starts at Junction SM Bypass Road and traverses the city eco-park.
