Former world champion Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas secured a dominant victory over former world title challenger Richie “Magnum” Mepranum of Sarangani, stopping him in the 2nd round to claim the vacant Philippine super bantamweight title last night, January 25 at the Public Plaza in Iligan City. Ancajas delivered a decisive right hook to Mepranum’s groin who crumpled to the canvas for the full count.
