Thousands of devotees participated in today’s Traslacion in Cagayan de Oro, marking the highlight of the Feast Day of the Black Nazarene. The religious procession transferred the revered Black Nazarene image from St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral to Nazareno Parish Church. Police estimated the crowd to be 13,000, lower than last year’s estimate of 18,000. Despite the large turnout, the procession went on smoothly, completed in just a over an hour.
