A parallel concrete bridge is set to be constructed alongside the existing Malitbog Bridge in Sta Ines, Malitbog, Bukidnon, as part of the Widening of Permanent Bridges Project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Spanning 60 meters, this new bridge will serve as a parallel vital segment of the Misamis Oriental – Bukidnon – Agusan Road. The project has an approved budget of Php 72.2 million and is expected to be completed within 285 calendar days.
