Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan has unveiled its Centennial Logo during a special event dubbed “One Ateneo” today, November 22, at the Little Theater of Social Science Building at the XU Corrales Campus. Founded on June 7, 1933 by then Fr James Hayes, SJ, the school was first located at Burgos Street. On August 27, 1958, it became the first Ateneo university and the first higher education institution in Mindanao to receive university status. The university is now preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2033.
