17-year old driver suspect in fatal Opol Diversion Road crash handed over to CSWD; injured victims discharged from hospital

The 17-year old driver of the Ford Everest involved in the fatal crash with a Ford Expedition, which claimed the life of an engineer on Wednesday night, November 20, at the Diversion Road in Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental, has been handed over by the police to the City Social Welfare Department (CSWD) of Cagayan de Oro City, according to local reports. Meanwhile, members of the Pagaling family, who were injured in the collision, have been discharged from the hospital. The family has stated they are seeking justice and have no plans to settle the case with the suspect.

The Pagaling family is from Bukidnon. A daughter is a city councilor in Malaybalay City.

Shown in the videos below are members of the Pagaling, recently discharged from the hospital after the accident, arriving at the wake.
