The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) recently energized the 300MVA Power Transformer at its new 230kV Laguindingan Substation located at Lapad, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental. The energization, conducted on November 15, aims to alleviate the overloading issues at the existing Opol Substation, which currently supplies power to MORESCO-1 in the Laguindingan area, as well as address the limitations of Tagoloan Substation. Additionally, the new substation will play a key role in supporting the development of Laguindingan Technopark.
