Construction of the 4.25-kilometer, 2-lane CDO New Eastern Bypass Road is now progressing in the hilly terrain of Upper Ramonal Village. Earthworks are currently underway in this area, marking the beginning of the final descent starts towards Hayes Street. Photos by AJ McIndab.
Here’s the alignment. The encircled portion is where the ongoing road works are located.

This alternate road starts at South Diversion Road (near Alegria Hills) and winds through the upper slopes of Mandumol in Macasandig, Nazareth, and Camaman-an, connecting to JR Borja Extension and extending all the way to Lapasan. This shall serve as an alternate route to decongest the main highways going in and out of the city which will significantly reduce travel time for motorists.

Keep posted.
