Mercy Sunot, one of the Sunot sisters from Cagayan de Oro, who are the vocalists of the popular Filipino iconic rock band Aegis, has passed away. The sad news was confirmed by the band in their official Facebook page. Mercy, who was the voice behind the hit song “Luha,” was battling breast and lung cancer. She died at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in San Francisco, California, on November 17, 2024. She was 48.
