The Port Management of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) has once again solidified its commitment to environmental protection and sustainability by earning the Green Port Award System (GPAS) from the APEC Port Services Network (APSN) for the Port of Cagayan de Oro for the third consecutive time. The award was presented at the APSN Forum on Green Shipping Corridors held on October 24-25, 2024, in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and was accepted by on behalf of the PMO by Port Services Division Manager Ruby Maria O. Gumapon. The Port of Cagayan de Oro previously received the GPAS in 2018 and 2021.
