A new iconic Binuangan Bridge is set to be constructed across the bay in Binuangan, Misamis Oriental. This bridge will allow motorists to bypass the curved highway passing the entrance to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, a popular tourist and religious site in the municipality. With an estimated cost of P 962 million, the bridge will feature an iconic arch-type steel design, offering an overlooking view of the shrine complex and adjacent Lourdes Bay Resort.
During the “Urban Connect x LocalLab: Building a Future-Ready Cagayan de Oro City” forum held last September 26, National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Regional Director Mylah Aurora Faye B. Cariño in her presentation showed that the Feasibility Study of the said project has been completed and is subject for approval. Here’s the location and alignment of the proposed bridge.

This is perhaps the view from the proposed bridge.

Keep posted.
