The Port of Ozamiz City, usually bustling with travellers and vehicles due to daily barge operations, is already feeling the impact of the newly opened Panguil Bay Bridge. Yesterday, a typically busy Saturday, saw the port unusually quiet with no vehicles lined up for the ferry to Mukas Port in Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte. While port personnel anticipated this after the bridge’s opening, they remain hopeful that business will pick up again soon.

Yeeeeeah, don’t count on that ever picking up vehicles again… might as well welcome cruise ships passing by instead.
