“Bantay Lasang” volunteers in Barangay Guinuyoran, Valencia City, Bukidnon, rescued a Philippine eagle that had apparently been shot by an unidentified individual. Photos shared by Ruen Tumana show the injured juvenile raptor being handed over to DENR personnel yesterday, August 31. The eagle has since been transferred to the Philippine Eagle Foundation in Davao City for treatment and recovery.
