Do you want to see the Philippines women’s national volleyball team with the likes of Jema Galanza, Vanie Gandler and the high-leaping Sisi Rondina up close? Good news as Alas Pilipinas will be in Cagayan de Oro on August 17 for an exhibition match against CDO Selection and Xavier University Men’s Volleyball Team at the Aquilino Q Pimentel Jr International Convention Center. Tickets will be available starting July 27.
Although the lineup for the fiesta event has not been released yet, the current Alas Pilipinas squad which participated in the 2024 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Challenger Cup included Galanza, Gandler and Rondina. Others in the roster are Mhicaela Belen, Faith Nisperos, Angel Canino, Arah Panique, Thea Gagate, Mereophe Sharma, Dell Palomata, Julia Melissa Morado-De Guzman, Julia Coronel, Dawn Macandili-Catindig and Cherry Rose Nunag.
