RANDOM SHOTS: Lapasan folk benefit from ‘SurUy SurUy Sa Baryo’

Various medical and social services were provided to residents of Barangay Lapasan by a City Hall contingent led by Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy as part of his administration’s ‘SurUy SurUy Sa Baryo’ outreach program. The event took place at the covered court of Sitio Sto. Niño, Barangay Lapasan, on Tuesday, July 16.

About 3,080 PhilHealth cards and member data record (MDR) were released by the regional office of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) in tandem with City Hall through the City Health Insurance Office (CHIO).

Birthday cakes were also given to senior citizens whose birthdays fall on the January to July 2024 period. Mayor Klarex Uy repeatedly emphasized his administration’s ‘SurUy SurUy Sa Baryo’ outreach program would emphasize the timely delivery of health services to the barangays.

These services include free circumcision, dental and eyecare services and consultations in partnership with PhilHealth-10’s ‘Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (KonSulTa)’ program.

Tuesday’s edition of the ‘SurUy SurUy Sa Baryo’ program was spearheaded by the joint efforts of the CHIO, City Health Office, JR Borja General Hospital, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD), City Social Welfare and Development Department in cooperation with the beneficiary barangays.
