In response to a recent increase in flu-like illnesses and chickenpox cases, University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Cagayan de Oro (USTP-CDO) Office of the Chancellor issued Memorandum No. 106, s. 2024 on May 28, 2024. The memorandum mandates that all students, faculty, and personnel wear face masks inside enclosed areas such as classrooms, offices, and the auditorium. This measure aims to prevent the spread of communicable diseases and protect the health of the school community.
