The Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) is now constructing a new University Auditorium. With a seating capacity of 700 to 1,000, the auditorium will have a high ceiling and two levels for lounge and gallery spaces. It will serve as the main venue for the university’s cultural group performances and host national and international conferences and special events. This will be the first facility of its kind in the city.
According to Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan, the physical structure of the facility is targeted to be completed by the end of the year, before they begin furnishing its interior.

The facility will likely be the home of MSU-IIT’s Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG), the most travelled performing group in the country and a Gawad CCP awardee.
