Netherlands-based BCI Global, a research, advisory, project management and strategy firm, has identified Metro Cagayan de Oro as among two dozen ‘Out of the Box’ cities for future software development and support centers. In an article by Josefien Glaudemans, a partner of BCI Global, an exclusive report titled 24 for ’24: Emerging Tech Hubs Around the World, BCI Global’s expert team stated that Metro Cagayan de Oro with over 1.7 million inhabitants, acceptable quality of life and attractive cost levels, is expected to attract more international support activities. BCI Global came up with the list of “out-of-the-box” eight emerging locations each within three geographical areas: the Americas, EMEA and APAC (including India and China) after discussion with clients whuch are considering new locations for their international expansion.
Here’s the 24 ‘Out of te Box’ Locations. Metro Cagayan de Oro and Davao were the only sites in the Philippines included in the list.
