Mathea Lyf Aire N Elorde of Kong Hua School in Cagayan de Oro City and Shania Mae M Logronio of Atanacia L. Logronio Integrated School in Maigo, Lanao del Norte, recently bagged the silver and bronze medal, respectively, in the recent 53rd Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People. The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) made the announcement of the national winners of the contest aimed to develop the young people’s skills in composition and the ability to express their thoughts clearly, to foster their enjoyment of letter-writing and to help strengthen the bonds of international friendship. The theme for this year’s letter writing is: “Write a letter to future generations about the world you hope they inherit”. Congratulations!
