Newly-crowned WBC Mini Flyweight Champion Melvin Jerusalem has returned to his hometown of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, where he received commendation from the Municipal Government. Accompanied by his family and Japanese girlfriend, he paid a visit to his late father’s grave, a tradition he also observed after winning his first world title last year.

Jerusalem became a 2-time world boxing champion after dethroning Japanese titleholder Yudai Shigeoka with a split decision victory to claim the WBC World mini-flyweight title at the International Conference Hall in Nagoya, Japan last March 31. Read our post below.
