A total of 78,811 individuals, both domestic and foreign visitors, visited the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador City during the Feast of the Divine Mercy from April 6-7, 2024. This data, disclosed by the City Tourism Office using the DOT VAR system, indicates that 31,001 people entered the shrine complex on April 6, while 47,810 visited on the Feast Day, April 7. Among these visitors, 8,451 were from El Salvador, 32,711 from Misamis Oriental, and 37,594 came from other provinces, including distant locations like Ilocos Sur and General Santos. Additionally, 55 foreigners were among the attendees.
