Some local residents just had the unique opportunity to be the first to experience the illuminated charm of the Macasandig Section of the River Boulevard Project. This after the project contractor successfully switched on the solar lights along this stretch, which is a crucial part of the JICA-funded Cagayan de Oro River Flood Risk Management Project. Extending from Paseo del Rio towards Balulang-Macasandig Bridge, this section now boasts enhanced aesthetics and safety. Take a look at these photos captured tonight by TRip Ni ToniO.
Do note however, that the project is still not yet done and a lot more finishing touches are still to be added.
