Today, March 13, 2024 is the 82nd commemoration of the arrival of General Douglas MacArthur at Macabalan wharf in Cagayan de Oro City. A wreath laying ceremony followed by the official turnover of a PT-41 boat replica from the donors and veterans group was held at the MacArthur Memorial Marker in Macabalan this city.
City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas representing City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy, and former city mayor Constantino ‘Tinnex’ Jaraula attended the event together with Engr. Elpidio M. Paras and Mrs. Alice Limena Lacson of the donors and veterans group.
