Here’s a sneak peek of the proposed CM Recto Pedestrian Overpass which is an elevated walkway linking malls in Cagayan de Oro along CM Recto Avenue. The video as posted in Facebook by Eve Yang showed the structure connecting Gaisano-Centrio Overpass to Limketkai-USTP Overpass with street access at Nazareno Church, Ajirang Restaurant, Red Planet Hotel / SM CDO Downtown and finally at Limketkai Gateway Tower. The project aims to provide a safer path for pedestrians, decongest the streets in between the biggest malls in the city, and also promote healthier habits of walking
This is just the first presentation. Perhaps there could still be some changes or revisions in the plan prior to implementation.
