The development of the 15-hectare camping ground in Malasag, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City will soon start following the recent pre-bidding conference conducted by the DPWH 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH 2nd DEO) for the said project which will cover the construction of road network and pathways within the campgrounds and key structures such as an Administration Building, Grand Stand, Arena, and Toilet and Bath Facilities. Once completed, these facilities will serve as venues for hosting local and national scouting events, including jamborees and various camping activities.
The site is approximately 7 kilometers from the highway following Malasag-Mapawa Road. It is to the south of Mapawa Nature Park.
