King Energy Generation, Inc. (KEGI) with headquarters in Gingoog City has signed a 15-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) to provide 15MW of power to the world-class tourism town of El Nido, which has recently been having insufficient power.
KEGI was selected and awarded through a Competitive Selection Process (CSP) held last December 19, 2023, for the procurement of power supply. This was in response to the frequent power outages and the growing energy needs of the municipality.
