The Cagayan de Oro Convention Center will soon have a Multi-Level Carpark Building. This after the DPWH recently conducted a pre-bid conference for consultancy services for soil testing and geotechnical investigation on various infrastructure projects including the carpark building of the facility which just successfully hosted official games of the Philippine Volleyball League. The results of these pre-construction activities will also factor in the final design of the building.

Shown below is the masterplan for the convention center. The Carpark Building will be located at the back opposite the entrance. Currently, only the Main Building, Guard House and the Power House have been completed. After the Carpark Building, others in the pipeline include the Restaurant, VIP Lounge with Helipad, Viewing Deck, Function Rooms and an office of the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).

Here’s another perspective of the complex.

The facility was inaugurated last 2021 or 20 years after constructed started. It has a seating capacity of 7,700. The PVL games drew more than 9,000 spectators.
