Billy Kid Auza, the former Barangay Chair of Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City, was involved in a vehicular accident Purok 2, Barangay Larapan, Linamon, Lanao del Norte at around 9:20am today, November 18, 2023. Initial investigation by police revealed that the victim was driving his Toyota Hilux en route from Cagayan de Oro to Kolambugan town when the accident occurred. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead-on-arrival by the attending doctor at Mercy Community Hospital in Iligan City. Coincidentally, the accident occurred on what would have been his 33rd birthday. Auza had an unsuccessful bid for reelection in the recent barangay elections. Meanwhile, his passenger, a 14-year old relative, survived the crash and is in good physical condition.
