Filipino long jumper Janry Ubas from Villanueva, Misamis Oriental was recently recognized at the Plenary during his visit at the House of Representatives as a guest of Congressman Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano. Ubas has arrived back in the country after a successful stint in Europe where he bagged back-to-back gold medals in Long Jump in Finland where he set a new Philippine record of 7.86 meters and also in Italy.
