A murder charge has been filed at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Bukidnon against one suspect in the killing of Patrolman Jeffrey Dabuco assigned at the 2nd Platoon of the 1004th Regional Mobile Force Battalion-Northern Mindanao (RMFB-10) based in Kalilangan, Bukidnon. This was confirmed by Police Regional Director BGen. Lawrence Coop even as nine (9) other policemen tagged as “persons of interests” who were last seen with Pat. Dabuco before he went missing remain under camp restrictions.
It can be recalled that the 31-year old victim was found dead in Maradugao River in Purok 2, Barangay Panang in Wao, Lanao del Sur last June 26 after being reported missing on June 24.
Pat. Dabuco was buried last July 2, 2023 at Kalilangan Cemetery and was feted with a 21-gun salute by fellow police officers as witnessed by relatives, friends and local officials.
