By the Bay – the newest seaside restaurant and events place located in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City is now open. Enjoy fresh, delicious and tasty seafood and a lot more together with your family and friends at this new dining destination in the city. Open daily from 10:30am to 12:00 midnight.
Basically, By the Bay is a compound with three dining spots – the now open Tat’s Seafood Dampa (restaurant) and the soon-to-open La Baia Cucina & Bar (function) and Ylo’s Cafe (coffeeshop). It has a large parking area.

GETTING THERE. The place is just near Malasag Road Junction in Cugman with the entrance road (temporary) located at Caltex Station. This will soon be the exit as the permanent entrance will be at Blu Energy Station which could be opened next week. See map below.

Here’s the menu for Tat’s Seafood Dampa. Its Best-Sellers include the Shrimp Tray (P499), Captain’s Tray (P699) and the Shipwreck (P1,599). They also have lots of crabs including Curacha.

You can also choose fresh seafood (on display) and have it cooked (Seafood Paluto).

While seafood is its specialty, it also has other equally popular dishes for Pork, Chicken, Noodles and Veggies. Rice is served either by cup or kaldero.

If you prefer soup or kinilaw, they also have it.

And a wide selection for your drinks.

Although they are already open at 10:30am, the best time to visit the place is at late afternoon towards the evening for that sumptuous dinner.
