Mohammad Nur G. Casib of Philippine Science High School – Central Mindanao Campus in Balo-i, Lanao del Norte finished 1st runner-up in the recently concluded National Finals of the 25th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad held March 18-19, 2023 at UP Diliman, Quezon City. He won P20,000, a medal, a trophy, and a certificate. Congratulations!
Casib secured 2nd place among twenty (20) qualified students who competed on the National Finals wherein they answered and solved eight mathematical problems.
The PMO is the qualifying competition for junior and senior high school students who will compose the Philippine contestants in the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) set July 2-13, 2023 in Chiba, Japan.
