Malitbog’s 1st Mayor’s Cup Pickleball Open 2027 will offer a total cash prize of ₱1 million, setting the stage for what could be one of the municipality’s biggest sporting events. Scheduled on January 21–24, 2027 at the Malitbog Central School Covered Court, the tournament aims to bring together pickleball enthusiasts for four days of competition, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Spearheaded by Mayor Gary D. Casiño in partnership with the Dya Kid-on Smash Society Pickle Club, the event is expected to put Malitbog, Bukidnon, on the pickleball map and establish the town as a destination for major pickleball competitions.
