A new mixed-use development featuring commercial spaces on the ground floor and a modern hotel on the upper floors is set to rise along the National Highway in PSB Bolobolo, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, following a groundbreaking ceremony led by GPA Land Realty Corporation on October 2, 2026. Located beside Petron El Salvador and near McDonald’s El Salvador and Golden Mile Avenue, the development aims to provide comfortable and affordable accommodation for pilgrims visiting the Divine Mercy Shrine, as well as tourists and business travelers. Its location also offers convenient access to Laguindingan Airport.
The planned hotel is envisioned to complement the Divine Mercy Shrine and the proposed Divine Mercy Convention Center, which is expected to accommodate up to 5,000 participants. With limited accommodation options currently available in El Salvador City, the project aims to help meet the growing demand for lodging among visitors attending religious gatherings, conventions, and other events.
