The Asenso Misamis Occidental Medical Center (AMOMC), a new modern 500-bed government-owned hospital located in Talairon, Oroquieta City, has officially opened its doors to the public. The blessing ceremony held last October 8, 2026 was attended by Governor Henry S. Oaminal, Vice Governor Rowena Gutierrez, 1st District Representative Jason Almonte, local chief executives, hospital officials, and personnel. The new medical facility aims to expand healthcare capacity and improve access to medical services for residents of Misamis Occidental as it begins operations.
