Masterson Avenue in Uptown Cagayan de Oro is set for road widening as the DPWH moves forward with a ₱22.76-million improvement project aimed at adding road capacity and improving mobility along the busy route. Under Project No. 24KH0129, the project will cover the stretch from K1443+483 at Junction Zone 1 in Balulang, fronting SM City CDO Uptown, to K1444+587 at the South Diversion Road Junction. The project includes an additional 3.05-meter-wide paved lane, a 2-meter motorcycle/bicycle lane, 0.70-meter curb and gutter, and solar-powered roadway lighting, with a project duration of 262 calendar days. The procurement process has recently been initiated.
