Miss Cagayan de Oro 2026 Kriezl Jane Torres has turned a promise she made during coronation night into action, sharing her “Bulawanong Lamano” or Golden Handshake with Kagay-anons who help build and shape the city. She recently distributed food packs to fellow Kagay-anons, particularly those who are homeless, marginalized, and facing difficult circumstances. Torres said the gesture reflects the responsibility that comes with the crown, emphasizing that being Miss Cagayan de Oro is not only about holding a title, but also about serving others, showing compassion, and giving back to the community.
