Cagayan de Oro City posted a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per Capita of ₱428,000 in 2025, at constant 2018 prices, making it the highest among highly urbanized cities in Visayas and Mindanao. The latest figure released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) highlights the city’s continued economic strength and growing role as a major business, trade, and investment hub in Mindanao, with its strong per-capita economic output reflecting expanding commercial activity, a growing services sector, infrastructure development, and increasing investments. The figure further reinforces Cagayan de Oro’s position as one of the country’s leading urban economies and the Gateway to Northern Mindanao.
